Vote Courtney Price
March 23, 2024

I am running for Democratic State Central Committee Seat 66A and East Baton Rouge Parish Democratic Parish Executive Committee District 9.

I want to see change in the leadership of the democratic party in the state and I am ready, along with others in the Blue Reboot group, to work towards that change.

For A Better State Party

Louisiana needs a functional Democratic Party. Party leadership has failed to recruit candidates for races and hasn’t supported the candidate who are running. They have not taken accountability for this failure. We need new leadership in the state party.

Louisiana Democrats shouldn’t have to try to choose the least bad Republican candidate because there is not a Democrat on the ballot in their state house district. We deserve a state party that will work harder for the voters.

Progressive Values

I have spent my entire life in Louisiana and feel deeply connected to the state. I live in Baton Rouge now, I grew up in Sulphur, attended high school at the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts in Natchitoches, and went to college at Louisiana Tech in Ruston.

I want the state Democratic party to push back against regressive and hate filled policies. I want the state Democratic party to fight for women, for LGBT+ people, for people of color, and for other vulnerable people. I want the state Democratic party to stop endorsing politicians who do not reflect the values of the party.
